What Laya keeps, where it is kept, and how to delete it.

Last updated 24 October 2026. Applies to the web app at laya.dixith.com and to the Android app.

In short: Laya works without an account. Then your rhythms, the times you tended them, your notes and your settings stay on your device, and nothing of them is sent to us or to anyone. If you choose to sign in with a Dixith account, your rhythms and their times are also kept on our server so that they are safe and the same on your other devices. There are no ads, and nothing is sold. Google Analytics is used for anonymous usage statistics, and can be turned off.

Who runs Laya

Laya is made and run by Dixith Labs, India, as part of dixith.com. For any question, write to us through the dixith.com contact page.

What stays on your device

Each rhythm's name, icon, rhythm and group; each time you tended it, with its day and any note you wrote; and your settings. They are kept in your browser's storage for laya.dixith.com. Without an account they are kept nowhere else, and clearing the browser's data for the site removes them.

So keep a copy: More, Your data, Save a copy saves one file with your rhythms, their times and your settings. You can keep it in Drive or email it to yourself, and Bring back from a copy puts everything back, on this device or another.

What Laya does not collect

If you sign in

Signing in is a choice, made in More, Account. It uses the Dixith account, one sign-in for all the Dixith apps. Then our server keeps:

Your settings stay on each device. The sign-in code is sent to your email through dixith.com's own mail. Your rhythms and notes are never shown to anyone, not even on our own admin pages, which count only how many people and rhythms there are.

Ayojana's Since. Signed in, you can move things between Laya and the Since list in Ayojana, another Dixith app, for the same account: in More, Account, Ayojana's Since. Nothing moves unless you ask and choose what goes. Each app keeps its own copy, and deleting in one does not delete in the other.

In the Android app

The Android app shows this same Laya in its own window. Two things are its own, and both stay on the phone: the home-screen widget, which shows your rhythms from what Laya keeps on the phone, and the weekly note, if you turn it on, which the phone itself shows at the day and hour you choose. Neither sends anything anywhere. The app asks to show notifications only when you turn the weekly note on.

Deleting your data

Without an account, More, Your data, Delete everything on this device removes every rhythm, time and setting from that device at once. There is nothing of yours on our server to delete.

Signed in, Delete my Laya data at the foot of the Account card removes your rhythms and times from our server and from the device at once; your Dixith account and the other Dixith apps stay. Delete my whole Dixith account removes the account and what every Dixith app keeps for it. Both are immediate and cannot be undone.

Not a medical service

Laya keeps the rhythm of everyday routines. It gives no health advice. A rhythm you set for a health check is your own choice, not a recommendation.

Children

Laya is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
